The main difference between a stick pack and a sachet are the user experience and convenience for what the product is used for. While a sachet and a stick pack have a lot in common – both are single serving packaging options – sachets are typically square or rectangular.
Stick packs, on the other hand, are narrow and long. These are best for pouring directly into water, in the case of seasonings, drink mixes, and instant-mix powders.
